(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos announced today that defensive coordinator/assistant head coach Brad Miller has resigned to accept a job as a defensive assistant/quality control position with the NFL's Green Bay Packers.
Considered one of the bright young coaches in the CFL, Miller has spent the last five seasons with the Eskimos.He joined the Esks in 1996 as the teams' defensive line coach.Prior to the 2000 season, Miller assumed the dual role of defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.The native of Pasadena, California joined the pro ranks in 1995 as a linebackers coach with the CFL's Birmingham Barracudas.
Eskimo General Manager Tom Higgins says " From the time he arrived in Edmonton, Brad has played a key role in the success of the Eskimos.He's developed into a first rate coach and we are very proud of his accomplishments.The move to Green Bay is an exciting opportunity for Brad, his wife Lisa and their son".
