A. Donald Miller, M.D. was born and raised in Wisconsin.He received a bachelor of arts degree from Carleton College and a medical degree from University of California San Francisco.He completed his internship at Minneapolis General Hospital and began practice in the Richmond/San Pablo area in 1956.

Dr. Miller practices a mixture of general practice, industrial medicine and emergency medicine.He joined AMG in 1997 and is on staff at Brookside Hospital and Doctors Hospital Pinole.

Dr. Miller and his wife, Martha, have four children, Eric, Mary, Káren and Sara, and three grandchildren.When not attending to his busy practice, Dr. Miller enjoys collecting art and spending time at his vacation home and with his grandchildren.
