Aliza Milette, B.A.
Research and Education Assistant of The Dolphin Institute
Aliza Milette is a research and education assistant for The Dolphin Institute.
She was a full-time intern on TDI's 2006 humpback whale project and returned to Oahu from Maine in September to assist in TDI's whale database and fluke catalog management and in coordinating its fall high school ECHO internship program.
Aliza is also responsible for coordinating, developing and facilitating TDI's diverse School and Community Education Programs . Aliza is originally from Florida and earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in biology from Florida Atlantic University.
Her previous marine mammal work includes assisting at Allied Whale and The Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company, the Marine Animal Rescue Society, and the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution.
