Wendy Meyers, Program Director

Wendy Meyers is a credentialed biology teacher.Before joining The Friendship Club in 2003, she taught for six years in Los Angeles and Truckee.She received BA in Cellular Biology from California State University, Northridge.Wendy will complete her master's degree in Education from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles in December 2007.The focus of her master's thesis is at-risk youth.Wendy was raised in Nevada County and is a graduate of Nevada Union High School.She has used her experience as a competitive runner and athlete to expand the fitness component of The Friendship Club program.Wendy works with our high school girls.
