"Computers and the Internet are used today more than in past years," says Wendy Meyers, e-business specialist for Badgerland Farm Credit Services, Darlington, a member of the Wisconsin Farm Credit System."Just the overall capabilities of a computer and the type of information available on the Internet have resulted in an increase in usage.For farmers, the biggest benefit to using a computer and the Internet is the availability of information 24 hours a day, seven days a week, says Meyers.

The technology's expansion has inspired many farmers to log on, said Wendy Meyers, an e-business specialist for Badgerland Farm Credit Services in Darlington.

"Just the overall capabilities of a computer and the type of information available on the Internet have resulted in an increase in usage," she said.
