   George Meyer, 77, former resident of Bremerton died Nov. 2 at Capital Medical Center.
   
   He was born in Tacoma and raised in Bremerton, where he was involved in Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.He served in the Navy and Army during the Korean War.A graduate of the University of Washington, he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and an avid Husky fan who rarely missed a game.Mr. Meyer was a partner in Graystone Sand and Gravel, member of the Board of Trustees of St. Martin's University, and a longtime Olympia Rotarian.He enjoyed spending time with his family at his fishing cabin.
   
   He was preceded in death by his son, Kent.
