   Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Tampa shareholder, George Meyer, has been elected to the following positions: Governing Committee for the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry; Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers; Director of Circuit Representatives for the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar; and President of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay for a second term.

   Meyer's practice includes construction, real property and commercial loan transactions, Florida Construction Lien Law and construction contract administration and claims analysis. He has extensive experience with large-complex public and private development projects.
   
   Meyer received a bachelor's degree in economics in 1974, and an engineering degree in 1978, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He then obtained a law degree, with honors, in 1985 from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
