Edward Merrin is a fire science expert officially based out of Eugene, Oregon.  These days, Edward Merrin can be found tinkering around the streets of San Francisco, taking in the history and appreciating the dry weather.  Edward Merrin has always took a vested interest in the history of buildings, natural disasters, and the rebuilding process.  San Francisco has always represented, to Edward Merrin, a perfect example of a city defined by its reconstruction.  The survivor of fires, earthquakes, and an influx of yuppy business-adolescents, San Francisco is a model city of standing firm in the face of adversity.San Francisco is also home to the beautiful AT&T park, which Edward Merrin has been no stranger to in recent weeks.  An avid baseball fan, Edward Merrin is especially interested in the Giants this year, especially since Barry Bonds has left the team and allowed for the celebration of the other players.  Edward Merrin has nothing against Barry Bonds personally, but does believe that a baseball team is about a team, not one single player.  Edward Merrin also spends his time watching films, and considers himself an amateur film critic.
