Following audit experience at Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Paul Melton joined the Fraud Investigation group of the Crown Prosecution Service in 1992..Paul moved to Allied Domecq Plc in 1996 as Group Fraud Specialist and in 1998, worked for Lee & Allen Consulting Limited as a Senior Manager before beginning work as a freelance forensic accountant in 1999.In 2003, he joined Forensic Accounting LLP as a Senior Associate.

Paul has appeared as an expert witness in a number of fraud trials, giving evidence on cases involving fraudulent trading, conspiracy, theft and breaches of the Banking Act.
