With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Melton excels in legal and regulatory affairs.
As vice president of public policy for EnergyConnect, a green technology energy management company specializing in providing advanced, clean and green software solutions to energy customers, she is responsible for developing policy and advocating the advantages of alternative, competitive clean energy solutions to state and Congressional lawmakers.
Prior to taking on her current position, Ms. Melton was a regulatory manager for a competitive retail energy supplier; consultant to state regulatory boards and commissions that represent the states in the Mid-Atlantic region; and general counsel and assistant secretary for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Gubernatorial Cabinet Secretary of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.
Her proudest accomplishment includes successfully harnessing her years of related professional responsibilities into one position of executive authority that requires the application of her prior experience.
Pamela earned her JD from Antioch University in 1980 and a BS degree from Cornell University in 1978.
She served as Vice-Chair for the President's Council of Cornell Women of Cornell University from 2005-2007.
In her spare time, she volunteers at local animal shelters and participates in several women's breast cancer groups and organizations.
She looks forward to continuing her professional growth.
