Mitzi has studied Afro-jazz, Soukouss and West Africandance here in Melbourne, and has travelled to Africa threetimes to develop her skills.She spent a total of 12 monthsin West Africa - Ghana, Guinea, Senegal and The Gambia- where she performed with various dance troupes andtook private classes in dance and percussion.

Mitzi has a strong spirit and contagious energy.Sheperforms regularly with a range of bands and percussionensembles around Melbourne.Mitzi has a strongbackground in teaching, performing and study of thehuman body.Her passion, strength and understandingof African culture make Mitzi an energizing and captivatingdancer.

Rhythm N Grooves welcomes Mitzi to our teachingFaculty.She will be teaching a special 'Mature Age'African Dance Class and we will be expanding her teaching program in the near future.
