The students selected to attend the six-day training are Philip Rodgers and Alicia Adler from Owego Free Academy, Justin Cole and Carolyn Orth from Newark Valley High School, and Nate McNamara from Spencer-Van Etten High School.

Two Spencer-Van Etten juniors, Wren Albertson-Rogers and Nate McNamara, attended the Key Club International convention July 6-10 in Atlanta.

Albertson-Rogers was one of six lieutenant governors in New York state who was presented with the Robert F. Lucas Outstanding Lieutenant Governor award for work during the 2004-2005 year. For 2005-2006, Albertson-Rogers is serving as New York State District Editor, compiling and publishing the Empire Key, a quarterly newsletter (www.nydkc.org/empirekey.pdf).

McNamara serves as lieutenant governor of Division 22, leading seven Key Clubs in the Southern Tier.The Spencer-Van Etten Key Club is sponsored by Cayuga Kiwanis of Ithaca.
