Emily was a student of the IHRE, 2001, and is presently participating in the University of Wisconsin's Year in Nepal studying Anthropology.At the time of writing she was about to catch a plane for Thailand, where she planned to celebrate her 21st birthday.Congratulations Emily!!

On March 12, 2002, I was walking through Basantapur Durbar Square, the central market place and temple complex of old Kathmandu, dodging the always aggressive vendors of "tigerbalmpocketknifeyousmokebestpriceforyou" and tourists.
