Beacon High School boys basketball player Ed McNair was on the wing for team "White" in the Exceptional Senior All-Star game at the James J. McCann Recreation Center on the Marist College campus on Tuesday night. The 5-foot-8-inch player jumped up to dunk, but - who has never dunked in a game - got "hung" as the ball hit the rim.
"I was just trying to have some fun," McNair said. "I was trying to excite the crowd."
McNair did excite the crowd with some of his no-look passes as his team, coached by Millbrook's Adam Peek, came from behind to beat team "Black", 74-72.
