Kelly C. McMahon, Research Associate, was awarded her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. Through her research and coursework, Ms. McMahon developed skills in various statistical analyses.She joined HRI in 2000 to take on the majority of the analyses done as a part of the 2000 National Survey of Science and Mathematics Education.She has also contributed in this capacity to the Local Systemic Change, APS and PTRA projects.

Ms. McMahon works as part of the team conducting the Inside the Classroom study as well.She conducts the initial sampling of the teachers to be observed and maintains contact with them over the course of their participation.Ms. McMahon works also on the TE-MAT project.She maintains the in-house database of materials considered for the project and oversees the editing process of the final reviews of those materials.She then works with Horizon's partner on the project in posting those reviews to the TE-MAT website.
