  After completing the combined UCSF/SFGH Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program in 1989, Dr. McLamb spent two years in the faculty group practice at UCSF.In 1991, she joined the staff at Maxine Hall Health Center, a community clinic providing comprehensive care to the residents of San Francisco, regardless of ability to pay.While there, she focused her work on women's health care, co-directed the dysplasia clinic and devoted time to study the principles of acupuncture.
