  SAN JOSE, CALIF April 23, 2007- San Jose Giants starting pitcher Dave McKae has been named California League Pitcher of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 22.In two starts last week, McKae went 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA notching victories over the Modesto Nuts and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.The 25-year old right-hander worked a total of 12 2/3 innings and allowed just one run and nine hits.McKae walked only two batters while striking out 13.
  
  McKae, who signed as a non-drafted free agent with the San Francisco Giants in 2005, owns a 2-1 record and 1.59 ERA in four starts this season.
