Edward McHugh, CFA, joined Founders Asset Management LLC as an equity analyst in December 1999.As a member of Founders' small-cap investment team, he is responsible for analyzing and recommending companies across a broad range of industries, with a focus on healthcare, basic industrials and gaming/lodging.Mr. McHugh has also been assistant portfolio manager on the Dreyfus Premier Enterprise Fund since October 2003.

Before joining Founders, Mr. McHugh was an equity analyst for Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association in Denver, where he helped manage a portion of a $1.5 billion large-capitalization portfolio.His background also includes experience as an associate for the firm of Rivkin, Radler & Kremer in Uniondale, NY where he was involved in various areas of litigation.

Mr. McHugh earned a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.He received bachelor's degrees in both economics and political science from Villanova University.
