  Chris McGrathWith more than 25 years' experience in the real estate industry specifically coordinating industrial park development, Chris McGrath leads First Industrial's development activities across the Chicago, Milwaukee and NW Indiana markets.
  
  As Vice President of Development, Chicago Region, Mr. McGrath's responsibilities include land acquisition, speculative positioning, build-to-suit development, and redevelopment.
  
  During his tenure at First Industrial, Mr. McGrath has been involved in numerous build-to-suit and speculative development projects totaling more than 8 million s.f. for major corporate customers including Emerson Electric, Penske and General Motors.
  
  Prior to joining First Industrial in 2002, Mr. McGrath held a variety of senior real estate positions at Alter Group, Messenger Investment Company, Hamilton Partners and Trammel Crow Company.
  
  An active member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) and CoreNet, he has participated as an industry expert on numerous panels at real estate conferences hosted by CB Richard Ellis, Grubb & Ellis, Colliers International and Chicago Industrial Properties.
  
  Mr. McGrath earned a master's degree from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree in engineering from Purdue University.He is a licensed Professional Engineer.
