Since Unstressfully Yours opened in July of 2004, Cher McGrath has managed several of the events for leading corporations around the Silicon Valley as an independent solo freelancer. However, Unstressfully Yours also has a dedicated virtual support team with years of experience orchestrating and delivering a wide variety of event projects working with small organizations, private individuals, and large corporations on local, national, and international levels. SILICON VALLEY, CALIFORNIA:Cher McGrath is the CEO and Founder of Unstressfully Yours. As a talented, high energy, successful sales and marketing professional, Cher has been working in California for over 25 years. Her career experience spans the travel industry and fast-paced high tech computer industry. In her various positions, she has traveled the world and gained a wide knowledge of international business and culture.

Prior to Unstressfully Yours, Cher was with Sun Microsystems where she worked in several leading-edge technology divisions from Telecommunications to Java Marketing in progressively challenging positions. For over 10 years, she continually grew her knowledge and broadened her experience, building great relationships with vendors and partners, while honing her planning and people skills. Among her many accomplishments at Sun, Cher was responsible for worldwide computer industry trade shows, partner and industry conferences, sales kickoff meetings, press conferences, road shows, offsite training sessions, webcasts, team building sessions, executive customer meetings and holiday events. She also produced and managed over 200 domestic internal corporate Sun events and programs.

Cher has negotiated extensive contracts with vendors and reduced costs significantly. She developed and managed third-party vendor relationships to cost-effectively produce collateral and marketing materials, tradeshow exhibits, and promotional items. And, as part of her events responsibility, Cher drove partner-marketing programs to increase visibility and generate leads. One of Cher's proudest achievements was her work in designing and organizing the Sun Software Demo Center and Executive Presentation for customer tours that is the standard for the Demo Center today. While at Sun, Cher was recognized as a valuable team member, always completing her events within budgetary guidelines and going the extra mile whenever necessary.

Prior to joining Sun, Cher spent 10 years in the travel industry. In 1992, she joined the staff of Maritz Travel onsite at Sun Microsystems, supporting Sun's $24-million corporate travel account. Cher provided the client interface to the corporate Sun group in key areas including budget analysis and reporting.

In 1985, she joined the travel industry in outside sales. For over eight years, Cher built her knowledge and expertise at leading travel agencies in the Bay Area. She negotiated contracts for group and consolidated airfares, while planning domestic and international itineraries on multiple computing systems. While in these positions, she traveled extensively throughout Europe, exploring the continent's numerous cultures and increasing her knowledge of travel and event management. Throughout her successful career, Cher has built a strong and reliable network of qualified resources. She is prepared to put those valuable contacts to work for you.
