SAN JOSE, Calif., (July 26, 1999, DATE : [ 07/26/1999 ]ONE TOUCH Systems, Inc., the world's leading provider of end-to-end interactive distance learning (IDL) solutions, announced the promotion of Joe McGlynn to Director of Software Development.McGlynn will lead the engineering team in enhancing current ONE TOUCH IDL products, including the upcoming release of Front Rowä 2.5, the latest version of the company's desktop solution that features IP multicast of streaming video and two-way voice interactivity for the PC.Upcoming products include On Demand, which provides extended life for classes delivered via the company's synchronous distance learning solutions, with software that enables asynchronous participation.

Before joining ONE TOUCH, McGlynn worked at CrossWind Technologies, Inc., where he managed a team of seven engineers developing on-the-wire data protocols and APIs.CrossWind Technologies designs and markets enterprise collaboration software for the cooperative workplace.
McGlynn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri.
