Carol McDonald Manager, Registration Applications Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT)
Ms. McDonald joined ERCOT in March of 2001 as the Lead Financial Systems Analyst. After successfully rolling out ERCOT's new Financial System, she managed several large projects at ERCOT including the Texas Set 1.4 Project and the Phase 2 project where a wide range of Wholesale Protocol changes were implemented. In November of 2002, Carol was promoted to Manager of Registration Applications. In this role, Carol is responsible for Development and Maintenance of Siebel and Retail Reporting Applications in the IT organization.
Ms. McDonald has 16 years of experience in the Information Technology field. After graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor's Business Administration Degree in Data Processing, she launched her career as an IT professional at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in Austin, Texas. Carol began as a software developer at CSC and later became a manager where she was responsible for customized implementations at client sites. As the Product Release Manager, she was instrumental in the certification, documentation and delivery of base software releases.
