PMI Public Relations Administrator Christie McDevitt has recently become an Accredited member of the public relations profession by successfully completing a comprehensive examination governed by the Universal Accreditation Board, and administered by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).McDevitt's achievement allows her to use the initials APR in conjunction with her name.The Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations measures a candidate's knowledge of public relations practice, communications theory, management science, ethics and general understanding of the public relations profession.McDevitt joins approximately 6,000 public relations professionals who have achieved Accreditation.
