   A. Graham McDeson, MCM Graham McDeson, the General Manager of Carmel Country Club, was elected to the Board of Governors in 1997. A member of CMAA for 33 years, he has held numerous elected positions within the Carolinas Chapter, including serving on the Board of Directors. The awards bestowed upon McDeson from CMAA have included the Certified Club Manager (CCM) in 1977, Honor Society membership in 1987 and the Master Club Manager (MCM) designation in 1995. McDeson is one of only ten recipients of the very prestigious MCM designation. Since 1993, McDeson has played a key role in The Club Foundation's Campaign for Excellence, as Vice Chairman for Corporate Fundraising, and then as Chairman of the "Final Phase" committee.
