Daralyn McCurdy
Daralyn graduated from Dalhousie University in 2002 with a BSc (Honours in Biology). She is a Forest Ecologist with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources, beginning as a Career Starts intern. Working with the Ecosystem Management Group in Forest Management/Planning in Truro, Daralyn works on a variety of ecological issues for the department, including soil disturbance from harvesting, climate change impacts and adaptation, coarse woody debris, coastal forest ecology, and forest ecosystem classification. Since September 29th, Daralyn has also participated in the aerial damage assessment associated with Hurricane Juan.
