Joe was born and raised in North Vancouver.He played rugby (President's XV, BC Champs), football (All-Province) and wrestled at Carson Graham Secondary.Joe went on to play for the Surrey Rams of the BC Junior Football League (BCJFL) where he earned a 1st Team All-Star and the team was BCJFL Champs.At Butte Junior College he received 1st Team All-Conference honors for 2 years in a row.Joe attended the University of Utah on full scholarship for football where he earned a Degree in Sport Science.He later became the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at University of Utah for 2 years where he created, implemented and guided 16 men's and women's teams strength and conditioning programs year round.Joe is an NCCP Certified Olympic Lifting Coach as well.He has coached both the Carson Graham Boys and Girls Wrestling Teams to numerous provincial titles and the top ranked Boys Rugby and Football Teams to the Provincial Championships.Joe is currently the strength and conditioning facilitator for Canada's U-20 Rugby Team, Carson Graham and Rockridge Secondary, the Carson Graham Boys and Girls Wrestling Team Coach, the Conditioning Coach for the Capilano R.F.C. and the Director for High Performance Athletes with Level 10 Fitness.
