James McCullough

PONTOTOC - James McCullough, 83, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and the DAV.He was a farmer and a member of Cherry Creek Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with the Rev. Junior Ritchie and Elder Thomas Bouchillon officiating.Burial will be in Carey Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jewel McCullough of Pontotoc; two brothers-in-law, James and Elizabeth Martin, and Johnny and Syble Martin, all of Pontotoc; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith McCullough, Jimmy McCullough, Jimmy Washington, Bill Martin, Steve Martin and Jimmy Franklin.
