Craig McClatchey, AIASenior Associate (Denver)
Craig McClatchey has been a senior associate with Marx/Okubo since 2005.His many responsibilities include the review of construction, planning/design documents, property condition assessments, owners representation, project cost estimation/analysis, construction observation, design consulting and life safety issues.
Mr. McClatchey has been involved in the practice of architecture along with urban planning since 1975.He has worked with most construction types ranging from industrial, institutional, educational, retail, commercial to health care facilities.He also has extensive experience in the Design/Build process.During his career, Mr. McClatchey has developed all types of buildings from a 100 acre office campus, featuring over 2 million square feet of office space to 5,000 square feet medical facilities.
During his employment with Marx/Okubo, Mr. McClatchey has been responsible for Pre-Project Review/Owners Representative of a 200,000 square foot power retail center; several Property Condition Assessment projects ranging from 200,000 to 500,000 square feet in size.In general, Mr. McClatchey has been directly involved with over one hundred projects ranging from $150,000 to $ 30,000,000.
Mr. McClatchey was an honor graduate, in both the Tau Sigma Delta (Architectural) and Sigma Tau (Engineering) honorary fraternities from the college of Architecture at the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors of Architecture degree.He currently holds architectural licenses in the states of Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota and Colorado.He is certified with National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), as well as a member of the American Institute of Architects.He has served as an AIA board member in both the states of Nebraska and Kansas and was the AIA's IDP State Coordinator for the state of Kansas from 1987 to 1989.
