"Each employee pays $1 to come to the party and we have raffles and drawings as well as an auction of various items donated by our employees," said CGH Human Resources Director Tom McCawley, whose department organized the party."This is an annual event and everyone has a lot of fun with it.We are thrilled to be donating over $1000 to such a worthy cause."

Another annual CGH holiday event is the CGH Caring Tree, where hospital employees decorate a Christmas tree with children's winter clothing items like hats, gloves, coats, mittens, etc.Those items are then collected and donated to the local Salvation Army for distribution to area young people before Christmas.
