Francis J. McCaffrey Jr., 74, loving and devoted husband and father, went to peaceful rest with Jesus, our Savior, surrounded by family and friends Saturday evening, May 8, 2004, at the Bloomsburg Hospital.Francis was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1997.He resided at 122 Maple Alley for four years and formerly lived on McGuire Park Drive for 22 years.
He was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Valley Township, Montour County.He was the only child of Francis J. Sr. and Ethel Katherine (Kapp) McCaffrey.
He was a 1948 graduate of the Beaver High School and served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
