Eilish McCaffrey is founder of GIAC consulting, a private interim management advisory firm to technology Internet startups.She comes, most recently, from Digital Island where she developed, built and managed the Venture Group, which provided incubation services, such as funding strategies, management augmentation and mentoring services, to early stage firms in which Digital Island had a supporting interest.Before developing the Venture Group, Ms.McCaffrey was responsible for Digital Island's business development and global partnerships, particularly with consulting firms.Prior to joining Digital Island, Ms.McCaffrey was a global alliance executive with Perot Systems, where she built a worldwide channel of business partners and provided mergers and acquisitions deal vetting to Perot System's CFO and acquisition team.Before her tenure with Perot Systems, she held sales, business development and operational leadership positions with with Cygnus Support and Bay Networks.Eilish began her career at IBM NYC where she spent ten years in progressive roles both in engineering and consulting\marketing.She holds a Masters of Science degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Database design.mailto:eilish1@earthlink.net
