    ''There is going to be fear in individuals' and business people's minds,'' said James McCabe, an associate professor of finance. ''Any time in business that there is greater uncertainty, business decisions are not made.That's going to mean slower economic growth.''

    McCabe also believes consumer confidence will drop.
