   Gregory Matthews is an Investment Advisor Representative and Vice-President of Matthews Financial Services. Greg specializes in creating Retirement Distribution Strategies for clients nearing age 70 ½ (the mandated time to begin withdrawing from IRAs)and has lectured on IRA planning strategies to CPAs and attorneys throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area. Through various strategies, Greg teaches clients how they can reduce their tax liability, provide for family members, and preserve the IRA wealth for the next generation.
   
   Greg is a Certified Financial Plannerâ„¢ Designee and has also received the Certified Funds Specialist designation. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative with NEXT Financial Group Inc.. Greg has also lectured on financial planning and investments at corporations such as Northrop Grumman, Abbott Labs, Sprint, The Dallas CPA Club, and the University of North Texas as a guest speaker.
   
   Greg received his BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton where he was a four-year starter on the North Texas football team and currently serves on the board of the North Texas Lettermen's Association. Greg enjoys playing and watching all sports, but his real satisfaction comes from spending time with his wife and three boys.
