Michael B. Mathews, Ph.D. President, CEO, and Founder

Michael B. Mathews leads the corporate vision, strategy, and technology development for Loctronix. Previously he was the founder and principal of Engenex Technologies founded in 2001. Mathews has over 18 years of experience in both the aerospace and software industries and provides extensive expertise in systems engineering and technology management. Between 1999 and 2001, Mathews was the CTO and Chief Architect for InfoMove, Inc., a telematics company providing infrastructure and application components to telematics service providers. Mathews led the development of the first applications and services to bring real-time Internet, off-board navigation, and automated roadside services capabilities to the vehicle.

Mathews co-founded the Colorado-based CyberLocator, Inc., which was successful in developing the first ultra low-cost GPS location technology for use in radiosonde balloon measurement systems. CyberLocator was also the first company to develop and patent location-based authentication and verification. He received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Sciences from the University of Colorado.

Mike Mathews brings InfoMove extensive management and development expertise in software, electronics, and wireless technologies.Prior to joining InfoMove, he operated a software development services business specializing in information systems architecture, design, processes and methods.As a principal consultant to corporations including Cambridge Technology Partners and Seek Systems, Inc., Mike has led many development projects ranging from corporate information systems to revolutionary RAID storage controller technologies.

In 1996, he transitioned from aerospace engineering to software systems engineering.Mike joined Excell Data Corporation (recently acquired by Cambridge Technologies) as lead engineer for a multi-million software application development project and was promoted to Technical Director for Excell's software projects division.

Prior to the transition, Mike co-founded the Colorado-based CyberLocator, Inc. (formerly International Series Research, Inc.), a GPS technology development company with patented technology for security and wireless applications ; he led the formation of the organization and served as Board Secretary and Director of Research and Development.Mike received his doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering Sciences with specialities in microwave radar altimetry, astrodynamics, and systems engineering.Prior to 1994, Mike served as a GPS technology consultant.

Company president and founder, Michael Mathews is an entrepreneur and engineer focusing on GPS / wireless technologies and applications. He has worked over 15 years in both the aerospace and software industries developing a broad base of technical expertise and the 'know-how' to deliver products and services. As a successful technology innovator, his leadership combines extensive experience in systems engineering and technology management with the business acumen to commercialize new technologies. Michael founded Engenex to provide systems engineering and software development services to a variety of customers. His customer focus is the hallmark of Engenex today. A Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences (University of Colorado-Boulder, 1995), Michael has written numerous articles and papers, and he has spoken at national conferences including CTIA and GPS/Wireless.

Prior to founding Engenex, Michael was the CTO for InfoMove, Inc., a telematics company providing infrastructure and application components to telematics service providers. At its height, he led the team of more than 60 engineers in a successful two-year effort to complete an advanced telematics services platform and application software. Before joining InfoMove, Michael served as the Technical Director and Lead Engineer for Excell Data Corporation's Application Development and Consulting Services Group.

In 1994, Michael co-founded the Colorado-based CyberLocator, Inc. (formerly International Series Research, Inc.) - a GPS technology development company with patented technology for security and wireless applications. He has also served as a GPS technology consultant specializing in digital signal processing and sensor design.

Michael is a member of IEEE, the Institute of Navigation, and an inventor with several patents covering a variety of technologies such as location-based security, highly-scalable data storage systems, navigation, metadata systems, and dynamic transaction processing.
