Irun has announced the appointment of Abe Mathews as President.

Abe has more than 2 decades of professional experience as a Senior IT Manager with large multinational corporations."For small businesses the bottom line is the most important issue.So their web presence must have a direct positive impact on their business" says Abe.

Bill was employed as a welder with Abe Mathews and Eveleth Taconite, retiring after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of: First Lutheran Church in Hibbing, Mesaba Lodge 255 AF & AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies of Hibbing and Duluth, the AAD Temple Shrine of Duluth, the Shrine Motor Patrol, and the Range Shrine Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter; he also enjoyed bowling in the Monday Morning Senior League, and golfing.

Prior to founding Computec in 1994, Abe held various positions in Fortune 100 firms for 15 years.These positions included Director-IT Support Services for Firestone Tire and Rubber, Senior Systems Consultant for Beatrice Foods Company and Strategic Planning Analyst for CNA Finance.He was active in several professional organizations where he served on a number of committees including The Institute of Management Science, Society of Information Management and Center for Information Systems Research.

Abe has a MBA from the University of Minnesota, a MS in Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada and a B. Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
