Elissa Jane Mastel is no newbie in the Arts community in NYC.
As a child of avid art collectors from the early 70's on, Mastel was exposed to SoHo when it was dangerous and the burgeoning downtown art scene was just being born.
With an arts education from Bennington College, and film production from Boston University, Mastel is as creative as she is business savvy.
She has headed up a number of artistic groups, and curated countless shows throughout her career thus far.
She was the Founder and Executive Director of M3 Projects, an offshoot of Mastel + Mastel Gallery for over six years.
During that time, she launched Digital DUMBO, an annual festival featuring hundreds of artists and combining her passions for technology and art.
Today, Mastel works as Marketing & Publicity Director for Chronogram, a Hudson Valley publication with strong focus on Arts & Culture.
She also continues to produce art shows and music events in upstate New York.
