  Producers generally excel in one area: vocal performance, arrangement, technical expertise, performing acumen, or capturing just the right vibe. Brandon Mason's talents as producer and engineer are multifaceted, encompassing all of these attributes and more.
  
  A musician, writer, arranger and programmer in his own right, Brandon possesses an uncanny ability to hear into the music, to hear the impulse that drives the music, and to bring those aspects to the fore in the recording. "Every record inevitably takes on a life of its own and presents a unique set of possibilities," says Brandon. "The trick is to put those possibilities together in a way that faithfully represents the artist and to keep the process flowing naturally, maintaining the space everyone needs to tap into their best performance and get it on tape."
  
  Brandon is currently recording music for the new Runaways film, the early life and times of Joan Jett's first band and mixing new material for Loomis and the Lust.

  Brandon started his relationsship with The Secret Machines by recording their 2006 Warner Bros. release, Ten Silver Drops.. He is also lauded for his work with Martha Wainwright on her self-titled debut album (Zoe/Rounder). New Order fans know him from his remix of their classic "Temptation" for EMI/London's singles compilation.
  
  Brandon cut his teeth at legendary Bearsville Studios and went on to help build Allaire Studios , where he worked on some of the most successful records of the last decade (Norah Jones, Tim McGraw, Ricky Martin).
  
  Brandon is a dynamic producer and mixer; as versatile producing a rock band, avant-garde jazz trio or orchestral soundtrack.
