Jim MarxTechnically a Wisconsin native , Jim Marx was raised a Californian.Having earned his B.A. in Business at San Diego State University , he spent the next 20 years working and gaining valuable experience in the construction and land development field.Jim Marx is now well-known and appreciated as US History teacher at Valley Center Middle School , where he has instructed the last 7 years.

A family man , Jim married a local girl ( Mary Jo ) 18 years ago.The happy couple stay plenty busy raising their two sons.Jim is very active in the community , participating in Boy Scouts and local music programs , and couching various sports.
