Ms. Marx specializes in the research, design and development of physician compensation plans, including capitation budget design and fee schedule preparation, RBRVS relative value reimbursement systems and performance pay programs for physician networks and integrated care delivery and financing systems.
Ms. Marx has been engaged in the design and development of several IPAs and PHOs, as well as other forms of integrated care.
She currently serves as Executive Director for the Physicians of Wisconsin, a multi-IPA network representing over 1,600 physicians in Wisconsin.
Together with Mr. DeMarco, Ms. Marx has co-authored several monographs including Understanding Capitation , a primer and workbook especially designed to assist the physician in understanding not only the background, but the basics of capitation, Management Services Organization, a detailed analysis of how management service organizations operate, The Difference Between MSOs and PPMs, examples of various structures and salary ranges for MSOs, and a monograph on Physician-owned HMOs, which details case studies of physician-driven health plans in both rural and urban settings nationwide.

In addition to her research and publishing activities, Ms. Marx is actively involved in the design and development of single specialty networks in such areas as radiology, recently helped negotiate a $7.5 million MSO joint venture, and has assisted several medical management companies in improving their provider relations and case management effectiveness.
Ms. Marx earned her Bachelor of Science, Pre-Med degree from the University of Notre Dame and then continued her education at the University of Illinois - Champaign where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree.
She is a member of the American Association and the IPA Association of America.
