D.J. Martinez, A.T.C.Assistant Athletic Trainer
D.J. Martinez enters his first season with the Crush joining the club from University of New Mexico, where he served as the graduate assistant athletic trainer with the UNM football team.
Martinez is in the process of completing his Masters degree from UNM in Sports Administration.He earned his undergraduate's degree from UNM in Athletic Training in 2006.
While at New Mexico, Martinez has worked as a student athletic trainer for the school's men's soccer team, men's tennis team, Spirit Group and men's basketball program.His experience also includes working as a sports medicine staff intern for the Dallas Cowboys during their 2005 training camp and at the 2004 Winter X Games.
A native of Rapid City, South Dakota, Martinez enjoys golfing, tennis and music.
