Erle Martin

Erle Martin was named CEO of the as yet unnamed Leucadia National Corporation wine division. The division will encompass three Leucadia winery properties, Napa's Pine Ridge Winery, LLC, Oregon's Archery Summit and a new Washington property located in the Horse Heaven Hills. Martin was previously the president, wines, with Francis Ford Coppola Presents. Martin joined Niebaum-Coppola (now Rubicon Estate) as vice-president of sales and marketing in June 1996 and was promoted to general manager in July 1997. In December 1999, he was appointed president. Prior to that, Martin was with Young's Market of California, where he was a vice-president and head of their statewide fine wine division.

In the spring of 2006, the Coppola wine business was split into two companies.The Niebaum-Coppola winery was renamed and refocused as the Rubicon Estate and the acquisition of the Chateau Souverain facility was finalized.Martin is now president of the as-yet-unnamed new winery; home to the Francis Coppola Diamond Collection, Rosso and Bianco and Sofia wines in addition to the new Director's Cut line of premium Sonoma appellation wines which were successfully launched in January of 2007.

Erle joined Niebaum-Coppola from Young's Market of California where he was a Vice-President and head of their statewide Fine Wine Division.
