    Emmy Award-winning pilot/reporter Rob Marshall joined News10 in April, 1996.Rob, who has close to 7,500 hours in flight time, is the station's news helicopter pilot and reports live from Air 10 during News10 broadcasts and breaking news events.

    Live from Air 10, Rob has covered many breaking news stories that were also broadcast by national media outlets.High profile news stories he has covered include the dramatic 1999 high-speed truck chase along Interstate 5, the discovery of the burned out wreckage of the missing vehicle in the 1999 Yosemite murder case, the devastating Central Valley floods of 1997 and 1998, and the arrival of Unabomber suspect Theodore Kaczynski in Sacramento.

    In addition, Rob was a special guest on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for his coverage of a dramatic rescue of a couple trapped overnight standing on top of a vehicle surrounded by rising flood waters.

    Since joining News10, Rob was honored with a prestigious Emmy Award for his coverage of a dramatic high-speed chase that happened in 1998.In addition, he received an RTNDA award for his coverage of a fiery gas-main explosion that occurred in 1997.

    Prior to coming to News10, Rob worked for Wolfe Air Aviation Limited and was the primary helicopter reporter for KCAL-TV in Los Angeles, where he covered stories such as the famous O.J. Simpson/Al Cowlings freeway chase and the Malibu and Laguna Beach fires.While at KCAL, Rob received a number of honors, including an Edward R. Murrow Award, an Emmy Award, an Associated Press Award, and two Golden Mike Awards as a pilot/reporter.

    He then moved to Sacramento where he began flying on a regular basis.In addition, he starred in several commercials for Raley's and of course for a local television station (his real start in TV).His friendly personality, intelligence,good looks and manners won him many fans and admirers.

    All in all, Dylan has accumulated more than 3000 hours of flight time in his 8 years of being a co-pilot.

    While Dylan's siblings remained close to the marshes and became duck hunters, he is the only one to get his "wings" and embrace aviation.
