Rick joined Awaroa Partners in April 1999.Prior to joining the group he worked in parliament and the not-for-profit sector.Rick specialises in economic affairs and public policy communication and media relations, with an emphasis on the use of clear, concise language.

His work at Awaroa Partners has included a wide range of communication activities including writing, research, editing, print and electronic publication management, event promotion and management, and media liaison.

He also has experience providing written support for a number of superannuation publications focusing on providing members with plain-language reports on investment performance and national and international market news.

His clients include think tanks, investment fund managers, energy advocacy groups, and business, education and enterprise lobby groups.

He holds a BA Hons in history and politics.
