George Maroulis was born in Athens, Hellenic Republic.He graduated Baruch College of the City University of New York with a Bachelor in Business Administration.He is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in economics and political science with a minor in history from Columbia University.He has worked for the past several years as a bank officer, namely with Dime, Anchor and Citigroup.George is presently a business and political consultant with his namesake firm.

His current memberships and past affiliations include Republican National Committee, New York State Republican Committee, Queens County Executive Committee (Corresponding Secretary from 9/95 to present), Queens County Republican Party, New York State Hellenic Republican Association (Founding Member), 36th Assembly District (representing 40th Election District), Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church, Athens College Foundation, Heritage Foundation, Empower America, CATO Institute, Masons, Cathedral Fellowship, United States Air Force Auxiliary-Civil Air Patrol (Captain), Boy Scouts of America-Troop 91 (Committee Chairman) and the Christian Coalition.
