   Kathleen Marks, Secretary, currently works with the Resourceful Communities Program, helping communities throughout the state integrate environmental stewardship, social justice and sustainable economic development. She taught at a local Reggio-inspired preschool and continues to volunteer with children. A native of NC, Kathleen earned her BA at UNC-Chapel Hill. Rooted in her abiding commitment to the holistic and child-centered education provided by CIS, she has been actively involved at the school since her son Ian, now a Sundrop, enrolled, she and looks forward to supporting its students and staff.
