Endre MarkosHead of Asia Pacific Execution ManagementBloomberg LPEndre Markos is the Head of Asian Execution Management at Bloomberg.Based in Hong Kong since 2003, he brought Bloomberg into the Asian arena of Execution Management in Equity and Futures Order Routing, where he manages the largest broker-neutral equity platform for Asia Pacific with Equity Order Routing and Indications of Interest on FIX.Endre joined Bloomberg in Princeton in 1996 as a Portfolio Systems - R&D Analyst where he helped to create the Institutional Holders search database and the analytic suite for international funds.He then moved to Bloomberg Tokyo to join the Business Development team in Equity Products as a Senior Asian Equity Market Specialist in 1999.Numerous equity analytics and trading screens used daily have his fingerprints on them.Endre graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 1994 with a degree in Economics.

Endre Markos is the Head of Asian Equity Execution Management at Bloomberg.Based in Hong Kong since 2003, his speciality is in the area of Execution Management in Equity Order Routing where he manages the largest broker-neutral equity platform for Asia Pacific with Equity Order Routing and Indications of Interest on FIX.His responsibilities also include working closely with all the brokers on developing and implementing algorithmic strategies as routing destinations.His job involves educating traders on the buy-side about the structure and dynamics of electronic equity executions which often steps into the area of consulting on best execution, VWAP benchmarking and workflow design of backoffice integration.Endre joined Bloomberg in Princeton in 1996 as a Portfolio Systems - R&D Analyst where he helped to create the Institutional Holders search database and the analytic suite for international funds.He then moved to Bloomberg Tokyo to the Business Development team in Equity Products as a Senior Asian Equity Market Specialist in 1999, where he contributed by designing numerous Asia specific market analytic screens and calculations currently running on the Bloomberg Professional system.One of his major achievement is in the creation of the first complete, searchable and fully integrated fund holdings database for Japan in 2003, which later became the standard for the global fund database currently still used by Bloomberg users.Endre graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 1994 with a degree in Economics.
