Dr. Richard Markoll

Dr. Richard Markoll, M.D., Ph.D., has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since its inception.

Dr. Markoll received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Cologne.He pioneered and developed the PST System and was the sole author of the process patent for the treatment of arthritis and sports-type injuries with PEMF and the device used in connection with the PST System.

Dr. Markoll also holds a M.D. degree from Grace University School of Medicine, St. Christopher.Dr. Markoll has been a participant in several scientific projects over the past 25 years and has presented his basic medical research at numerous medical meetings.

After completing his formal education, he embarked on a course of basic research in applied physical chemistry (involving the first practical synthetic lubricants) in the steel industry.

Thereafter he developed multipurpose products for military application.During this period, PST System research was initiated under Dr. Markoll's supervision.

Since 1980, Dr. Markoll has devoted substantially all of his time, energy and resources to the development and research of PEMF applications.

The clinical studies were completed at Yale University School of Medicine affiliated teaching hospitals.

After successful completion of clinical studies involving over 5,000 patients, Dr. Markoll began commercialization of this technology in Canada and other countries.

In April 1996, Dr. Markoll began an extensive undertaking to develop the other European commercial markets and set up manufacturing.
