Janice Markham is a writer/researcher and host for Press for Democracy.She is Artistic Director of VOX BOX Arts Collective, a non-profit arts group that creates innovative theater, film, visual art, and educational outreach.Janice creates further art havoc with Somnambulist, which includes her husband, Gideon, and various angry artists in the neighborhood.Their performances combine electronic and live music, including electric violin, spoken word rants, baby toy percussion and tap dance.Janice is currently the theater advisor for the Renaissance Arts Academy - a public charter school dedicated to the arts.She is the recipient of the Clifton Webb Acting Award from the graduate acting department at UCLA , and the Ruth Cohen writing award from the masters writing program at USC.Janice lives in Eagle Rock, California , with Gideon and their two daughters, Raina and Czeska.

Janice Markham holds a BFA in theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.She is the recipient of the Clifton Webb Scholarship for her graduate studies in theater at UCLA, and is a Master's Candidate in the professional writing program at USC.Since 1991 Janice has been Artistic Director of the VOX BOX Arts Collective, a non-profit arts organization based in Eagle Rock.
