Donald Chance Mark, Jr. is a founding member of FMJ with more than 30 years of experience handling general litigation, aviation litigation, products liability and other commercial litigation and medical malpractice defense matters.A graduate of St. Olaf College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Don received his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

Don is certified as a Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association.He has been named one of Minnesota's "Super Lawyers," and has been selected by his peers as a "Leading American Attorney."

It was recently announced that FMJ shareholder Donald Chance Mark, Jr. has been approved and certified as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is recognized as the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States.The organization was founded in 1993, and membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements.Forum membership acknowledges excellence in advocacy, and provides members with a national network of experienced colleagues for professional referral and information exchange in major cases.Members must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case in which their client has received a verdict, award or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more.

In 2004, Mark, together with FMJ shareholder, Shannon M. McDonough, obtained a $1 million verdict for their clients in United States District Court in Santa Ana, California.

FMJ shareholder and NFL Contract Advisor, Donald Chance Mark, Jr., was instrumental in securing Gary Anderson's one year contract as Kicker for the Tennessee Titans and was quoted in a recent article published in The Tennessean (click on the link to read the article) recapping Anderson's season with the Titans and his legacy within the NFL.
