  Mick, an English youth international, was just 17 when he signed for Coventry City in November 1969.He scored 1 goal in 72 league matches for the 'Sky Blues', before he moved to Norwich City in January 1975.
  
  Mick stayed in Norwich til March 1983, scoring 11 goals in 182 matches.The central midfielder changed to Barnsley for two more years scoring 6 goals in 47 matches.Mick ended his football carreer in May 1987 at Oldham Athletic where he scored 3 times in 69 matches, completing a total of 370 league matches.

  Mick McGuire, vice-president of the international players' union FIFPro, said: "We are in no way in agreement with that because a 16-year-old and his parents have a right to decide with which club he signs his first professional contract."
